As part of our continuous efforts to raise environmental awareness and expand green spaces, we are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the "27,000 Trees to COP 27" campaign, in collaboration with Viterra Egypt. The campaign culminated in planting 1,200 fruit trees, including lemon, olive, guava, tangerine, and orange, across the courtyards of several public schools in Sheikh Zayed City.

This initiative witnessed the active participation of Viterra Egypt employees, alongside more than 500 students and teachers, demonstrating their commitment to community involvement and environmental responsibility. The combined efforts of "Shagrha" and our partners at Viterra Egypt reflect our shared goal of promoting awareness about the importance of afforestation and ecological conservation while contributing to a sustainable future.

On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, a special celebration was held to mark the successful conclusion of the "27,000 Trees to COP 27" campaign. Eng. Omar El-Deeb, the founder of the "Shagrha" initiative, and representatives from Viterra Egypt, the Ministry of Environment, and the Ministry of Education attended the event. During the celebration, the completion of the campaign was officially announced, and the attendees commended the achievements and efforts made.
