Plant a fruit tree with Capital Train and Shagrha!

RATP Dev Mobility Cairo and Shagrha - شجرها initiative have joined forces to launch the “A Tree in Your Name” loyalty program!

Ride the Capital Train and contribute to a greener, healthier Cairo. This program rewards frequent riders with a fruit tree planted in their name, highlighting the importance of trees in our city, and you’ll be raising awareness about sustainability and helping improve Cairo’s air quality.

On World Environment Day, we invite you to join us in positively impacting the environment.

Here’s how it works:

* Scan the QR code in stations or on trains to register.

* Fill in the form with your subscription card number and details.

* Ride more and aim to be the top rider!

Every month, the passenger with the most rides at each Capital Train station will be awarded a fruit tree planted in their name!

Why? Since the beginning of the year, Capital Train riders have helped prevent 1500 tons of harmful emissions – that’s the work of 240,000 trees!
